Honorary Members
Honorary Members of NJPA
These individuals have gone above and beyond in their contributions to this association and to the polygraph profession as a whole, and we honor and thank them.

Dr. David Raskin
Dr. Raskin is the father of modern polygraph. He established the first scientific laboratory for the study of polygraph at the University of Utah. His research set the standard for modern practices. Dr. Raskin travelled to New Jersey twice to speak at our seminars and we, and the polygraph profession in general, are in debt to him.

Dr. John Kircher, RIP
Dr. Kircher was a graduate student of Dr. Raskin and polygraph researcher at the University of Utah. He was a brilliant statistician and his exhaustive research led to the standardization of chart analysis through what became known as the Kircher Features. He passed away in 2025 and we mourn his loss.

Dr. Charles Honts
Dr. Honts was a graduate student of Dr. Raskin at the University of Utah, and went on to become a Professor of Psychology at Boise State University. Now Professor Emeritus, Dr. Honts has published countless research papers on polygraph and has defended polygraph in court from a scientific perspective. He is a long-time friend supporter of this association and its members and we are grateful to call him a colleague and a friend.
